The ceremony, hosted by L.L. Cool J, will be available to stream exclusively on Paramount Plus Premium. Unfortunately, the Essential plan does not include access to the VMAs. However, Paramount Plus Premium is offering a special deal that cuts the annual price in half, making it an affordable option for all music lovers.

This year's event will feature 19 categories, including best collaboration, best new artist, best choreography, and video of the year. The competition is open to almost anyone due to social-driven categories. Among the nominees, Lady Gaga leads with 12 nominations, followed by Bruno Mars, Kendrick Lamar, Rosé, Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish, Sabrina Carpenter, The Weeknd featuring Playboi Carti, and many more.

Artists and groups nominated outside of the Artist of the Year and Video of the Year categories include Beyoncé, Bad Bunny, Kendrick Lamar, Lady Gaga, and Taylor Swift. Special awards like the Rock the Bells Visionary Award will be presented to Busta Rhymes, and the Latin Icon Award will go to Ricky Martin.

Brittany Snow, Ciara, Busta Rhymes, Sabrina Carpenter, Ricky Martin, and KPop Demon Hunters stars Audrey Nuna, EJAE, and Rei Ami are among the presenters and performers. Mariah Carey will perform as this year's Video Vanguard Award honoree, and her single Type Dangerous is nominated for best R&B.
