"21st-Century Individuals Incorporated into Artwork" - Hagens Join the Artistic Realm

In an exciting development, Hagen, Germany is set to host a mass photography event on Sunday, August 24, 2025. The event, which aims to capture an authentic snapshot of the city's society, will take place at two locations: the Osthaus Museum on Museumsplatz and a yet-to-be-specified location in Breckerfeld.

The event will begin at the Osthaus Museum at 10 am, or 10:30 am in Breckerfeld. Participants are invited to join individually or with friends and family. As part of the industrial photograph, participants will be dressed in silver ponchos, a detail that was evident in a previous photoshoot by the Belgian photographer who is not explicitly stated to be involved in this project.

The Belgian photographer, known for combining settings like parking lots with mass images of people to put the latter in the foreground, has not been identified in the search results. However, it is clear that the Hagen impulse and its design language, the Hagen coat of arms, and the city's industrial history have served as inspirations for this photoshoot.

Independent arrival is possible in Breckerfeld, with parking available at Baumeister Frischei GmbH & Co. KG, Brenscheid 16, 58339 Breckerfeld. HST buses will transport participants to a wheat field in Breckerfeld and back.

The organisers are still seeking more residents for the event, with the hope that 85 residents, as seen in a previous photoshoot on the roof of the Westfalenbad parking lot, will participate. The photoshoot will utilise a drone for capturing the event from an aerial perspective, as was the case in the previous photoshoot.

This event offers a unique opportunity for residents to become part of a memorable industrial photograph, showcasing the spirit and diversity of Hagen's society. Whether you're camera-shy or an avid photographer, this event promises to be an experience not to be missed. So, mark your calendars and join in the fun on August 24, 2025!
