A 2023 video unrelated to current events is circulating with a baseless assertion that Prime Minister Modi discussed the imminent likelihood of major confrontations within India

In a viral video shared on the official YouTube channel of the Indian Parliament, 'Sansad TV,' on September 14, 2023, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is seen making remarks targeting the INDI alliance. However, the video does not show any recent warnings by the Prime Minister about the possibility of nationwide riots in India.

During the event, which was also live-streamed on the official YouTube channel of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Prime Minister Modi attacked the Indian National Congress party for opposing Sanatan values. He warned that the INDI alliance will increase their attacks on us, and have started an open attack on Sanatan values.

The Prime Minister further stated that the INDI alliance wants to eradicate Sanatan and push the country into another thousand years of slavery. He urged everyone, especially Sanatan people, those who love this country, those who worship this soil, and countless people who love this country, to be alert.

At the 22:24 mark of the viral video, Prime Minister Modi spoke about the INDI alliance demolishing Sanatan values. He also stated that everyone should unite to stop these forces, with our strength, our unity, we have to thwart their plans.

It is important to note that a keyword search did not find any credible reports to support the viral claim that PM Modi recently warned the people of India about the possibility of nationwide riots. If such serious comments had been made, they would have been widely reported.

An English translation copy of the Prime Minister's speech at the event can be found here. The visuals in the viral video start at timestamp 24:31 and end at timestamp 25:31. The longer version of the viral video was found during a reverse image search of keyframes from the viral video.

In conclusion, while the viral video does show Prime Minister Modi making remarks about the INDI alliance and the need for vigilance, it does not support the claim that he recently warned the people of India about the possibility of nationwide riots.
