A 37-year-old individual sustain severe wounds from a firearm discharge on Kampstraat

In the early hours of September 3rd, a tragic shooting incident occurred on Kampstraße in Dortmund, Germany.

According to the available information, the victim of the shooting was a 37-year-old Moroccan man who was homeless. The incident was preceded by an altercation between the victim and an unidentified suspect. During the altercation, the suspect, who is described as being between 30-35 years old, slim, with a three-day beard, black, smooth hair hanging down on his forehead, a tattoo on his right forearm, wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans, and light-colored sports shoes, is said to have drawn a firearm and shot at the victim while he was fleeing towards Reinoldikirche.

The shooter was accompanied by another man during the incident. This second man is estimated to be around 25 years old, with a three-day beard, short dark hair, and a thin build. He was wearing a black "Nike" jacket, black pants, and black sports shoes.

Both the suspect and the second man fled the scene after the shooting. The police have deployed a helicopter in the search for the suspects and have established a homicide unit for further investigations.

Witnesses who observed the child after she left the leisure pool until found by another witness in Grafenhausen are being sought by the police. Anyone with information about the incident or the fleeing suspects is asked to contact the Criminal Investigation Department on 0231/132-7441.
