A flawless example demonstrating the optimal form for an ideal physique.

In a recent development, Artem Chekalin, former husband of popular blogger Valeria Chekalina, has partially admitted guilt in a criminal case involving the transfer of over 250 million rubles to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

According to the investigation, the Chekalins transferred the funds from September 2021 to February 2022, during which they organised a fitness marathon called "Ideal Body". The participants were promised weight loss and entry into a draw for a Moscow apartment and an Audi.

The funds were obtained from the "Ideal Body" fitness marathon. Participants were asked to sign a contract with the company E-Fitness, located in the UAE, with funds going to Lerchek fit abu dhabi. However, the Chekalins did not notify the Federal Tax Service (FNS) about opening accounts in a foreign jurisdiction, as required by Russian law.

Artem Chekalin's lawyer, Konstantin Tretyakov, believes that his client's actions do not constitute the crime outlined in part 3 of article 193.1 of the Criminal Code. He argues that the responsibility under this article lies with those sending the money, not those receiving it.

The outstanding amount to be paid, including fines and penalties, could total around 140 million rubles. Artem Chekalin is ready to voluntarily pay the entire necessary sum.

Roman Vishnyak, a businessman and bloggers' partner, has admitted guilt and signed a pre-trial cooperation agreement with the prosecutor's office. His case will be tried separately under the special procedure, potentially receiving a lighter sentence.

As of now, Valeria Chekalina has not testified since the proceedings began in October 2024 and has appointed a new lawyer. Ekaterina Chekalina, Valeria Chekalina's former wife, has not given testimony in the case and recently changed her lawyer. It remains unclear what position she will take in court.

Valeria Chekalina is currently renting a house in the "Millennium Park" cottage village in Istra for 3.5 million rubles. Artem Chekalin's voluntary payment of the necessary sum and his readiness to cooperate with the investigation may indicate a willingness to resolve the matter. However, the case is still ongoing, and further developments are expected.
