Tim Krul's All-Star Newcastle United Team

Tim Krul, a 37-year-old goalkeeping legend, has selected an all-star team comprising internationals, all-time greats, and Premier League stalwarts from his illustrious career at Newcastle United.

In goal, Krul has chosen Edwin van der Sar, whom he considers his mentor. Van der Sar, a Dutch icon, brought a wealth of experience and stability to the team during his time at St. James' Park.

At left back, Krul has chosen Erik Pieters, whom he considers one of his best friends in football. Pieters' defensive prowess and ability to contribute to the attack make him an ideal choice for this position.

In central defense, Krul has selected Virgil van Dijk, whom he considers a top defender and a leader. Van Dijk's commanding presence and outstanding ability to read the game make him a formidable force at the heart of the defence. Krul also chose Fabricio Coloccini, who Krul describes as having an Argentine mentality and being a leader on the pitch. Coloccini's leadership and tactical awareness were crucial to Newcastle's success during his tenure.

At right back, Krul has chosen Danny Simpson, whom he considers underrated at Newcastle United. Simpson's defensive solidity and ability to contribute to the attack make him an ideal choice for this position.

In midfield, Krul has chosen Yohan Cabaye, who was similar to Wesley Sneijder as a playmaker. Cabaye's vision, passing ability, and ability to score goals from distance made him a key player for the Magpies. Sneijder, a proper leader on and off the pitch, was known for his two-footed skills and creativity. Cheick Tiote, one of Krul's favorite teammates, was a warrior and role model for young players, capable of giving precise backpasses to the goalkeeper, keeping them on their toes.

Up front, Krul's right winger is Arjen Robben, but no further details about this selection are provided. Hatem Ben Arfa, an unpredictable winger, caused defenders headaches with his dribbling and provided both challenges and joys to Krul. Robin van Persie, one of the best strikers ever, had one of the hardest shots that Krul faced during his career.

Unfortunately, Cheick Tiote passed away, leaving an indelible impact on the game and the Newcastle United squad. Tiote was known for kicking his teammates, especially Papiss Cisse, during training, but his passion and determination on the pitch made him a beloved figure at the club.

Krul's all-star team is a testament to the talent and camaraderie that existed within the Newcastle United squad during his time there. From the defence to the attack, each player brings a unique skill set and a strong work ethic that made them stand out in the Premier League.
