In the early hours of four in the morning, a tragic incident unfolded in the 50,000-strong city of Évreux, located in Normandy, France. According to reports by BFMTV and "Le Parisien," a car was driven at high speed backwards multiple times into a crowd outside a bar, resulting in one death and five injuries.
The incident took place outside a bar in Évreux, where a nighttime altercation had occurred. The bar, which did not comply with the rules, often remained open past the designated time of one in the morning. However, all four men detained during the vehicle control in Murnau are now being investigated in connection with the Évreux incident.
The crowd outside the bar at the time of the incident consisted of approximately 100 drunk individuals. Five other individuals were injured in the car incident. The prosecutor of Évreux, Rémi Coutin, provided information about the incident.
The prefecture of Évreux also provided information to "Le Parisien" about the arrests and investigations. This unfortunate incident serves as a stark reminder of the importance of adhering to regulations and maintaining public safety.
