Accident in Ohio: Pedestrian struck by trailers in Sereetz area
On Monday, September 1st, 2025, a traffic accident occurred on the Danishburger Landstraße in Sereetz, Germany. The incident took place between the Zollweg and the Danziger Straße, causing a significant disruption to traffic in the area.
At around 11:40 AM, a trailer detached from a moving Fiat 500 with a trailer. The trailer rolled towards the sidewalk in front of a local gas station, where a 78-year-old woman was walking towards Sereetz. Tragically, the woman was hit by the trailer and sustained minor injuries.
The woman was quickly attended to by emergency services and was taken to the hospital for examination. Traffic was rerouted during the closure of the Danishburger Landstraße, which remained closed from 11:40 AM to 12:45 PM for the investigation and rescue operations.
The police in Ratekau are currently conducting an investigation into the cause of the trailer detaching from the Fiat. The name of the woman involved in the accident is not publicly available at this time.
