Accident: Two Individuals Suffered in a Hit-and-Go Incident
On August 14th, at approximately 07:15 AM, a traffic accident occurred on the L302 near the village of Forst. The incident involved a car and trailer driven by a 63-year-old man from Wiehl, a Golf driven by a 23-year-old woman from Nümbrecht, and a 54-year-old woman from Wiehl, who was a passenger in the car driven by the 63-year-old man.
According to reports, the accident took place when the Golf collided with the stationary vehicle on the right side of the road. As a result, both vehicles were not drivable and had to be towed away. The total damage from the accident was in the five-figure range.
Unfortunately, some cargo from the trailer fell off onto the road, causing further complications. The accident resulted in minor injuries to the Nümbrecht woman and the 54-year-old passenger in the Wiehl man's car.
The 63-year-old man stopped on the right side of the road to collect the fallen items from the accident. Some of the cargo from the trailer remained on the road after the accident.
