The incident took place around 5 pm. The 43-year-old resident of Waldbröl, who was driving the Ford Fiesta, collided with a stationary Mercedes driven by a 60-year-old resident of Gummersbach.
The 60-year-old sustained minor injuries and was taken to the hospital. The condition of the 43-year-old was not disclosed in the news article.
