Accused Individual Linked to Attempted Crash of Tunsere Platform within Tate Unit Due to Religious Motives for Causing Physical Harm

In a shocking incident that unfolded on Thursday, a 45-year-old Iranian national working at a meat processing plant in Quickborn, Germany, launched an attack on two of his colleagues. The victims, a 32-year-old Iraqi and a 44-year-old Syrian, both belonging to the Yazidi ethnic-religious group, sustained cuts to their upper bodies during the attack.

The Public Prosecutor's Office Itzehoe and the State Criminal Investigation Office of Schleswig-Holstein are actively investigating this case. Pascal Reg, a public prosecutor from the Bonn public prosecutor's office, is leading the investigation. An arrest warrant was issued by the Itzehoe District Court at the request of the Public Prosecutor's Office Itzehoe on Friday.

The initial attack was directed at the 32-year-old Iraqi with a butcher's knife. Witnesses bravely intervened, holding the attacker down until police arrived and took him into custody. The suspect is currently being held in a detention facility.

The first victim managed to defend himself and escape the situation. However, the suspect then turned his attention to the second victim, attacking him in the company's break room. The second victim was able to defend himself using a chair.

The State Criminal Investigation Office of Schleswig-Holstein is investigating the case on suspicion of attempted murder in conjunction with dangerous bodily harm. The attack occurred on the premises of the meat processing plant in Quickborn. It is worth noting that the suspect and the victims have been working together at the company for years.
