Adecco Group Announces Key Decisions and Court Ruling

The Adecco Group, a global leader in Human Resource services, has announced several significant decisions following their annual general meeting last week. The Swiss-based company, listed on the Swiss Stock Exchange, the New York Stock Exchange, and Euronext Paris, will be in a position to fully implement the strategy announced in January with Dieter Scheiff as the successor.

In a ruling by the Duesseldorf district court, the motion for an injunction against Dieter Scheiff's move to the Adecco Group has been dismissed. This decision comes after the Supervisory Board of DIS AG, the company Scheiff currently works for, had already approved of his move to the Adecco Group on 21 April 2006.

The annual general meeting also decided to revoke the listing of shares for official trading at the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (delisting), in an effort to avoid serious price fluctuations and yearly costs of approximately one million Euros. The lowered dividends are a means of supporting the growth of the company for DIS AG.

The revised Supervisory Board of DIS AG will consist of distinguished personalities, as announced by the company. The Adecco Group, with over 6,600 offices in over 70 countries and territories, operates as a worldwide network connecting over 700,000 associates with business clients each day.

Klaus J. Jacobs, the CEO and Group Chairman of the Adecco Group, expressed his satisfaction with these decisions and the court ruling. He indicated that Dieter Scheiff will be his successor, stating, "I am pleased with the decisions taken by DIS's annual general meeting and the Duesseldorf district court's ruling, and I look forward to working with Dieter as we continue to grow and succeed in the future."

Regarding Dieter Scheiff's current company, no publicly available information was found in the provided search results. The Adecco Group, a Fortune Global 500 company, remains committed to its mission of connecting people with employment opportunities and helping businesses find the right talent.
