In Rhine-Kreis Neuss, a district in Germany, a decree requiring a negative rapid test result for visiting certain businesses and using services has been extended. The regulation, initially valid from September 2021, is now effective until 26th April 2022.

The decree applies to various establishments, including craft and service businesses where a distance of 1.5 meters to the customer cannot be maintained. This includes cosmetic manicure, massages, tattoos, and piercings. For those employed in these areas, the requirement to present a confirmed negative rapid test every two days remains in effect.

The extension also applies to visiting libraries, archives, museums, art exhibitions, galleries, castles, zoological gardens, botanical gardens, and similar facilities. It also includes businesses that are currently allowed to be entered via "Click & Meet".

All other prescribed protective measures and hygiene regulations also continue to apply. The Rhine-Kreis Neuss district administration has issued the extension of the general availability of negative rapid test results for these purposes.
