The city of Aschaffenburg is gearing up for its annual health promotion event, "Movement in the Park" (MiP25), set to take place from August 2, 2025, to September 13, 2025. This event is an integral part of the city's annual "Summer in Aschaffenburg" series, organised by the municipal health management.

The event will take place in the picturesque Aschaff green belt, with various courses happening at Damm on the large meadow at the corner of Dyroffstraße / Dahlemstraße and on the Großmutterwiese and adjacent green areas.

MiP25 aims to inspire citizens of Aschaffenburg to prioritise their health by offering a diverse range of activities. From yoga and general fitness to functional training, mobility, relaxation, back training, dance, rugby for children and young people, and movement units for parents and grandparents with children, there's something for everyone.

Participation in the courses is open to all, regardless of age, and no prior registration is required. The courses will be held on Thursdays from 5:30 PM to 8:15 PM and on Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 11:45 AM.

As a member of the "Healthy Cities Network", the city of Aschaffenburg is committed to supporting the health of its citizens through movement offers. The successful "Movement in the Park" event, which saw great success in the summer of 2024, is one of these initiatives.

The focus of municipal health work is prevention, and MiP25 aims to break down inhibitions and promote the motivation to incorporate sports into daily life. By participating in these activities, citizens can take a proactive step towards maintaining their health and wellbeing.
