Updated Voyah Zhiyin Unveiled: A Game Changer in the EV Market

Dongfeng Motor's new energy vehicle brand Voyah has officially launched the updated Zhiyin SUV, marking a significant step forward in the electric vehicle (EV) industry. The new model was unveiled on October 13, 2024, and has already garnered substantial attention due to its impressive features and competitive pricing.

The updated Zhiyin comes in three variants: two rear-wheel-drive versions and one all-wheel-drive version. The base model starts at RMB 202,900, undercutting the pre-sales price of RMB 220,000 announced earlier this month. The all-wheel-drive variant, equipped with an additional front motor boasting a maximum power of 175 kW, is priced at RMB 242,900.

The single-motor version of the updated Zhiyin offers a maximum power output of 230 kW (309 horsepower) and a peak torque of 395 Nm. The all-wheel-drive variant, on the other hand, utilizes an 81-kWh battery pack, delivering a CLTC range of 600 kilometers. The single-motor variant offers battery capacities of 81 kWh and 112 kWh, resulting in CLTC ranges of 650 km and 901 km respectively.

One of the standout features of the updated Zhiyin is its rapid charging capability. A 100-km range recharge can be achieved in just 3 minutes with 5C fast charging. The updated Zhiyin supports 5C fast charging with a peak charging power of 440 kW, making it one of the fastest charging EVs on the market.

The updated Zhiyin is equipped with advanced smart driving sensors, including a roof-mounted 192-channel LiDAR. It also integrates Huawei's Qiankun ADS 4 smart driving system and HarmonySpace 5 cockpit system, enhancing the overall driving and user experience.

Voyah, the new energy vehicle brand of Dongfeng, is planning to list on the Hong Kong market via an introductory listing. However, the company that announced the plan to exit the Hong Kong stock market and the public listing of Voyah has not been identified in the provided search results.

Despite the ongoing plans for privatization and delisting, the updated Zhiyin has already secured over 3,000 firm orders within the first 12 minutes of launch. This strong demand underscores the potential of the updated Zhiyin and Voyah's position in the EV market.

With its impressive performance, cutting-edge technology, and competitive pricing, the updated Voyah Zhiyin is poised to make a significant impact in the EV industry. The updated Zhiyin measures 4,810 mm in length, 1,900 mm in width, and 1,636 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,925 mm, making it a spacious and stylish choice for EV enthusiasts.
