Aggressive Harassment with an Axe in Dortmund-Nette: Police subdue belligerent assailants

In a recent development, a 49-year-old man identified as Hassan U. has been taken into police custody following a series of disturbing incidents that took place in his apartment.

The ordeal began earlier in the night when a deployment was made due to a noise disturbance. However, the exact location of the incident remains undisclosed.

The man initially refused to engage with the police officers, and during the initial encounter, he was armed with an ax or a similar object. This threatening display forced the officers to retreat. No one was injured during the incident, but the man's behavior was deemed threatening enough to warrant a police response.

After some time, the man was persuaded to exit his apartment unarmed. Upon processing, it was noted that the suspect had been displaying mood swings during detention. Furthermore, the consumption of intoxicating substances by the suspect could not be ruled out.

In addition to the threat charges, Hassan U. is also facing charges for insulting the deployed forces during detention.

The most alarming revelation, however, is that Hassan U. is also accused of threatening, torturing, and ultimately strangling the escort woman Isabella E. (*30) according to the indictment.

The incident took a dramatic turn when, upon opening the apartment door with an ax or a similar object in a threatening manner, the man went back into his apartment after the police officers retreated.

A 52-year-old neighbor from the same building reported being insulted by the man around 6 am.
