In the town of Recklinghausen on the night of August 17th, a sizable group, approximately eight to ten individuals, converged at the local Police Headquarters.

Aggressor assaults individual at news kiosk

In Recklinghausen, on August 17 around 5 PM, a 49-year-old man from Gladbeck was the victim of an attack on Humboldt Street. The incident occurred in front of a kiosk, and the attackers made off with the victim's wallet and money after initially verbally harassing him and then punching and kicking him.

So far, only one of the perpetrators has been described. A roughly 15-year-old boy was seen wearing a short, rust-coloured tracksuit. The remaining seven to nine suspects remain unknown. Police Headquarters Recklinghausen is urging anyone with information to come forward and help identify the other attackers.

The victim sustained minor injuries but did not require medical attention.
