AI System Alcatraz Launches Rock X
In an exciting development for the security industry, Alcatraz AI is set to unveil its latest innovation, the Rock X exterior access control solution, at ISC West 2024 in Las Vegas. Booth #31075 will be the hub of activity, showcasing this groundbreaking technology.
Rock X, a waterproof and dustproof device (IP66), is designed to overcome challenges posed by outdoor environments for facial authentication. Its vandal-resistant design (IK08) ensures it can withstand physical impact, making it ideal for harsh climates with a temperature range of -40°C to 66°C.
The Rock X integrates seamlessly with digital intercom systems or PBX supporting SIP, facilitating two-way communication alongside access control (IP Intercom functionality with a microphone and speaker). It also supports Wiegand and OSDP protocols, enabling simple integration with any Access Control System (ACS).
One of the standout features of Rock X is its frictionless and secure facial authentication technology, ensuring reliable access control in any lighting condition, from 0 to 120k lux. For added security, an optional expansion module can be combined for secure data storage on the secure side of the door, enhancing data protection and network security.
Tina D'Agostin, CEO at Alcatraz AI, states that Rock X introduces a new era of security for exterior locations using AI and technical innovation. She believes that the introduction of Rock X marks a paradigm shift in outdoor access control.
In addition to its appearance at Alcatraz AI's booth, Rock X will also be on display at several partner booths, including Alvarado dormakaba Group (18019), Automatic Systems (6071), Boon Edam (23051), Genetec (13062), Gunnebo (28061), Johnson Controls Innovation Cube (18033), Smarter Security (5089), and Software House Sales Meeting Room (Lido Hall 3003).
With Rock X now available for pre-order, businesses and organisations can take a significant step towards enhancing security and streamlining access control processes in exterior locations. Rock X's innovative features and robust design make it a game-changer in the security industry.
Meanwhile, DMP, another player in the security market, has introduced JamAlert, a detection device designed to combat the growing threat of illegal cell jammers. This device is set to provide an additional layer of security for businesses and organisations, ensuring uninterrupted communication and data transfer.
These developments underscore the rapid evolution of the security industry, with companies continuously innovating to meet the growing demands of businesses for secure and efficient solutions.
