32-Year-Old Czech Cited for Intoxication During Hazardous Material Inspection
A 32-year-old individual, whose name remains undisclosed, was taken to the Altessen police station for a second alcohol test following an incident on a cargo motor ship. The coast guards initially detected the smell of alcohol on the individual during a hazardous material inspection on the vessel.
The 32-year-old, who was responsible for guiding officers through the inspection, displayed signs of being unsteady and had slurred speech. A breathalyzer test was conducted on the individual at sea, which indicated an alcohol content of over one percent.
