Airport authorities are on a hunt for Gambier, collaborating with the Federal Police.

The Federal Police at Munich Airport, a second-largest airport service unit in Germany, played a crucial role in the arrest of a 30-year-old Gambian on August 27. The man was identified after using his girlfriend's train ticket, leading to a series of investigations and subsequent charges.

The Federal Police at Munich Airport, located at Nordallee 2 - 85356 Munich Airport, is a versatile organisation with approximately 1,600 employees. Their responsibilities include border police protection, fighting cross-border crime, ensuring rail safety, air safety tasks, and the prevention of dangers in the area of federal railway installations, all aimed at ensuring the safety of rail passengers.

The man's arrest was initiated when a document specialist's inspection revealed a discrepancy between the passport photo and the man. The photo in the passport did not match the man using the passport, arousing suspicion. Further investigation revealed that the man presented a valid Spanish passport, but a check revealed it was listed in the wanted system.

The Public Prosecutor's Office in Landshut had a warrant for the man's arrest for misuse of identity documents, with a demand for 136 days of substitute imprisonment or an equivalent fine. Additionally, the Public Prosecutor's Office in Würzburg also had a warrant for the man's arrest due to the violation of an active entry and residence ban.

As a result, the man now faces several charges, including misuse of identity documents, illegal entry, illegal residence, fraud, obtaining services by deception, and illegal practice of a profession. After the police measures, the man could not pay the demanded substitute fine and was taken into custody at the end of the proceedings in the justice prison in Erding.
