A'ja Wilson and Allisha Gray recognized as WNBA's August Players of the Month
In the exciting month of August, two standout players, A'ja Wilson and Allisha Gray, have been making waves in the WNBA. Their exceptional performances have not only boosted their individual statistics but also propelled their teams towards the playoffs.

Meanwhile, Allisha Gray, the guard for the Atlanta Dream, has also been shining bright. She shot 48.5 percent during the month, surpassed 400 career 3-pointers, becoming the 37th player in WNBA history to reach the mark. Gray also logged her 37th consecutive double-digit scoring effort in August, another team record. Her average statistics for August stand at 19.4 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 2.9 assists.
Gray's performances have been instrumental in helping the Atlanta Dream clinch a playoff berth and set a new franchise high for single-season victories. One of her top outings came against Minnesota, where she scored 27 points, four rebounds, and three steals. Gray also made history by becoming the first guard in WNBA history to win the monthly award three times in a single season.
