Since the beginning of the pandemic, 826,000 PCR tests have been conducted in Almaty. The virus's reproductive rate in Almaty is 0.991 (1.1 nationwide). This indicates that the spread of the virus in Almaty is currently under control, but vigilance is still necessary.

According to the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the peak registration of cases is possible by the end of March. The epidemiological situation worldwide remains tense, with several countries introducing additional measures to prevent the spread of the virus.
