In an unexpected turn of events, a group of approximately ten children and teenagers drew the attention of the Mainz police on Tuesday, September 2nd, in front of the Rewe market at the Bonifazius towers.

According to reports from the Mainz police headquarters, the incident occurred around 9 pm. The teenagers were noticed by civilian officers due to their aggressive behaviour. The nature of the altercations among the teenagers was not detailed, but it was clear that they were involved in some form of dispute.

The police found a pocket knife on one of the teenagers, which was secured by the officers. Thankfully, no criminal offenses were detected during the incident.

The group included a 13-year-old from the Mainz-Bingen district who had been reported missing. The officers took the boy back to his parents, but the outcome of the police intervention was not mentioned.

Several patrol units were called to control the group, and all those involved received a dispersal order. The reason for the dispute among the teenagers remained unclear.

It's worth noting that the location of the incident was not specified beyond being in front of the Rewe market at the Bonifazius towers. The search results do not provide any information about the parents of the 13-year-old boy found by the police on September 2nd near the Rewe markets at the Bonifazius towers in Mainz after being missing in the Mainz-Bingen area.

This incident serves as a reminder of the importance of maintaining peace and order in public spaces, especially when it comes to the safety and well-being of our children and teenagers.
