Altercation intensifies at gas station according to LPI-G report
On the morning of September 4, 2025, a disturbing incident unfolded at a gas station in Schmölln, Kemnitzgrund. According to reports transmitted by the State Police Inspectorate Gera, a physical altercation took place between two German men at around 5:30 AM.
The altercation involved a 42-year-old and a 50-year-old, with the older man accusing the younger one of passing too closely and dangerously. The argument escalated, resulting in the younger man headbutting and punching the older man. As a result, the older man sustained minor injuries and his glasses were damaged.
The police were immediately called and initiated an investigation for bodily harm and property damage. However, the suspect in the incident remains unidentified at this time.
