Amidst the turbulence surrounding the potential transfer of Chelsea's key player, Bayern Munich clinches a victory over Augsburg managed by coach Wagner.

In a heated match at the WWK Arena, Bayern Munich emerged victorious against FC Augsburg, securing their fourth win in four competitive games this season. The final scoreline read 3-2, with goals from Serge Gnabry (28th minute), Luis Díaz (45+4), and Michael Olise (48th) for Bayern, while Kristijan Jakic (75th minute) and Mert Kömür (also 75th minute) scored for Augsburg.

The game started with a flurry of chances, with Marius Wolf hitting the side-netting in the 4th minute, and Olise failing to capitalize on a poor pass from Dahmen in the 3rd minute. However, it was Bayern who took the lead through Gnabry, with Harry Kane providing the assist.

The match was tense in the closing stages due to an injury to Augsburg's Robin Fellhauer, who collided heads with Bayern's Sacha Boey. Boey was booked for the challenge. Despite fighting for the equalizer, Augsburg couldn't manage it until the 75th minute, when Jakic and Kömür scored within minutes of each other to reduce the deficit.

However, Olise extended Munich's lead early in the second half, and despite Koo's effort for Augsburg later in the game, Bayern held on to their lead to secure the win.

Coach Sandro Wagner, who made his home debut in the match, led Bayern to victory in his first competitive game in charge. Meanwhile, Nicolas Jackson, currently on loan from Chelsea FC, played for FC Bayern Munich. Kane, who scored his first goal of the season, also featured for the Bavarian giants.

Luis Díaz missed a significant scoring opportunity early in the game, but he made amends by scoring in added time at the end of the first half to give Bayern a 2-0 lead at the break. The second half was a more even contest, with both teams creating chances, but Bayern held on to claim all three points.
