Animal enthusiasts will halt their steps at Montrose Harbor for the 25th PAWS Chicago 5K charity run next weekend.
The 25th annual PAWS Chicago 5K Run/Walk For Their Lives is set to take place on September 13 at Montrose Harbor in Chicago, Illinois. This event invites animal lovers from near and far to participate, whether by running, walking, or simply enjoying the camaraderie.
This year's event aims to make a difference in the lives of four-legged companions by raising funds and awareness for pets waiting to be adopted. All participants will receive a personal fundraising page, an event wristband, and an event T-shirt (no mail option this year).
Registration for the event is open and can be done online at pawschicago.org/5k. Day-of registration is available, but at a higher fee of $60 for adults and $20 for children 12 and under. The online registration closes at 11:30 p.m. on September 10.
The event wristband grants access to activities and giveaways. Participants can also raise funds and earn prizes through their personal fundraising page. The event is not limited to professional runners or walkers, making it accessible to all who wish to attend and support the cause.
The PAWS Chicago 5K Run/Walk For Their Lives is a pet-friendly event, so feel free to bring your furry friend along. Join us on September 13 at Montrose Harbor and be surrounded by fellow animal lovers as we come together to make a difference in the lives of our four-legged companions.
