The city of Münster is gearing up for the fourth annual "Summer Festival of Equality," taking place on September 11 at Bürgerhaus Kap.8 in Kinderhaus, Idenbrockplatz 8. This free event, organised by the city's Office for Equality, promises an evening of diverse music and thought-provoking discussions.

The stage program will be hosted by satirist Florian Hacke and Mina Richman & Band. Florian Hacke uses his humour to advocate for equality and fair distribution of care and responsibility during the event. Mina Richman and her band will perform a soulful blend of Blues, Folk, Hip Hop, and more.

Photos of Florian Hacke and Mina Richman & Band performing at the "Summer Festival of Equality" are available for publication. These photos, along with others from the event, are credited to Pepe Lange and Jan Haller respectively. The press release includes these photos, which can be published free of charge with this article.

Sarah Braun, head of the Office for Equality, encourages self-reflection on privileges and the importance of equality. Braun mentions the abolition of the Transsexual Law and the implementation of the Self-Determination Law as achievements.

It's worth noting that the Bürgerhaus Kinderhaus is wheelchair accessible, and a wheelchair-accessible toilet is available at Bürgerhaus Kap.8 in Kinderhaus.

Andreas Luttmer-Bensmann, who was previously at the top of the Münster office for equality, has been succeeded by Prenger in a leadership role related to women's pastoral care within the German Bishops' Conference.

The event takes place at 6 PM, and all are welcome to attend. Let's come together to celebrate equality and continue the conversation about creating a more inclusive society.
