Apple's upcoming iPhone 17 Pro will reportedly introduce a unique, cutting-edge display.

The highly anticipated anti-reflective display technology, first rumored in March, is now confirmed to be exclusive to the premium iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max models. This feature, designed to enhance visual clarity and reduce glare, has been a topic of discussion since the early stages of the iPhone 17 series development.

Initially, it was anticipated that the anti-reflective display technology would be incorporated into all iPhone 17 models. However, recent reports suggest that the standard iPhone 17 and the iPhone 17 Air will not feature this technology.

The anti-reflective, scratch-resistant display for the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max models is said to incorporate a "super-hard" anti-reflective layer for enhanced scratch resistance. This layer is reported to have a high yield rate, making it suitable for mass production.

Despite the lack of information about the developer of the anti-reflective technology for the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max, it is clear that this technology is specifically designated for the high-end models. In April, there were reports of production difficulties with the anti-reflective display for the iPhone 17, but recent reports from MacRumors indicate that these difficulties have been resolved, and the anti-reflective display is now back on track.

Juli Clover, writing for MacRumors, reported that a reliable source informed the publication about the sufficient yield in the production of the anti-reflective glass. This development is a significant step towards the mass production of the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max models, which are rumored to feature this exclusive anti-reflective display.

While Samsung is preparing foldable screens for potential integration into Apple's iPhone Fold, there is no specific information about the anti-reflective technology developer for the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max in the available data. Nevertheless, the anti-reflective display technology for the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max models is now at a stage where it can support mass production.

As we approach the release of the iPhone 17 series, the anti-reflective display feature is now expected to be limited to the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max models only. This technology is anticipated to provide users of these premium models with a more enjoyable and less glare-prone experience, making their devices even more appealing in various lighting conditions.
