Application submission deadline for the Environment and Climate Prize 2025 falls on September 14th.

The City of Arnsberg, in partnership with Westenergie, is inviting submissions for the Environmental and Climate Protection Prize. This annual award, first presented in 1987, recognises projects that contribute to climate protection, energy conservation, environmental preservation, and adaptation to climate change.

The deadline for submitting ideas and project proposals is fast approaching – September 14, 2023. The application form can be found on the City of Arnsberg's environmental website, www.ourwebsite/environment.

To be eligible, projects must either be in progress or already completed. Westenergie offers financial support for the prize to its partner municipalities in the supply area. The total prize money for this year's award is €5,000.

The award is open to all citizens, associations, companies, schools, and kindergartens in the city of Arnsberg. Relevant themes for the award include sustainable supply, mobility and traffic, tourism, and more.

Around 450 cities and municipalities participate and award the Climate Protection Prize in cooperation with Westenergie each year. Over 8,000 projects have been awarded nationwide. However, at the time of writing, there are no available search results listing the winners of the Climate Protection and Environmental Protection Prize 2025 in Arnsberg.

The Environmental and Climate Protection Prize will be presented in May 2025. By participating, you could become a part of this long-standing tradition and contribute to a greener and more sustainable future for Arnsberg.
