Applications Now Invited for the 2025 Women's Golf Awards

The golf industry is celebrating women's achievements once again with the fourth annual Women in Golf Awards, taking place on 27th November at the prestigious Foxhills Golf Club & Resort.

Nominations are now open for any woman working in a paid or voluntary role in the golf industry. This year, there are nine categories to choose from: Unsung Hero, Brand of the Year, International Woman, Women's Initiative, Women in Turfcare, Women PGA Professional or Assistant Professional, Women's Leadership, Rising Star, and Content Creator.

Each category has a dedicated sponsor, such as England Golf for the Unsung Hero category, Perry Ellis for the International Woman category, BIGGA for the Women in Turfcare category, and The Loop for the Content Creator category. The Rising Star category is sponsored by Acushnet, while the Women's Leadership category is sponsored by the GCMA and the Women PGA Professional or Assistant Professional category is sponsored by TGI Golf Partnership. The Brand of the Year category is sponsored by the BGIA.

Nominators are required to provide reasons for the nominations and examples of the impact that the nominee has made in their field. The independent judges assess each nomination based on the quality of the responses and the detail given.

The three finalists in each category will be invited to attend the awards ceremony. Attending the awards ceremony qualifies the three finalists for a place at the 2026 Education and Insights Day. A waiting list for a small number of paid tickets is available, with more tickets to be made available later in the year.

Nicole Wheatley, Founder of the Awards, expresses pride in providing a platform for women to shine and meet one another. She said, "These awards are a fantastic opportunity to recognise the incredible contributions women are making in the golf industry. I'm thrilled to see so many categories this year, giving us the chance to celebrate women in a variety of roles."

The continued support of sponsors, including The Loop and Acushnet, indicates the industry's commitment to retaining and attracting female talent. The deadline for nominations is 30th September at midnight. Nominations can be made through the website womeningolfawards.com. The ballot for tickets to attend the awards is still open on the website.

Don't miss out on this opportunity to celebrate the women who are making a difference in the golf industry. Nominate today!
