Attempted Robbery at Münsterplatz in Recklinghausen: Suspect Described

An attempted robbery occurred on Saturday at Münsterplatz in Recklinghausen, where a 80-year-old man from Castrop-Rauxel was approached by a suspect. The suspect, described as a male, approximately 25 years old, about 1.70m tall, with a slim build, black curly hair, wearing a white shirt or t-shirt, black pants, well-groomed, and spoke broken German, approached the victim around 4:00 PM, pretending to need a doctor.

However, the suspect did not manage to steal anything as the victim used his cane to prevent the robbery. The suspect then pushed the victim but was unsuccessful in his attempt.
