In a recent development, the Police Inspectorate Nienburg-Schaumburg is investigating an attempted robbery that occurred near the Stadthagen train station on February 25, at around 2 PM.

According to reports, two victims, aged 18 and 20, were threatened with an imitation firearm during the incident. They immediately sought help and contacted the authorities via emergency call. Upon providing detailed information, they went to the Stadthagen police station.

Following the victims' description, a search was conducted in the city area with the support of neighbouring precincts. Three young men were found and stopped in Huttenstraße. Several imitation firearms were found and seized during the inspection, along with other items used in the attempted robbery.

The suspects made no statements and were temporarily arrested. There is strong suspicion against at least one of the three men found during the search. It remains to be investigated whether the second suspect is one of the other two individuals.

All three suspects have a fixed residence in Germany, and it has been confirmed that they will be released after the police measures are completed. The names of the suspects have not been disclosed at this time.
