Army patients regained mobility under the guidance of the Omsk doctor, who had the power to immobilize them first.

The October District Court of Omsk is currently reviewing a criminal case against a 58-year-old endoscopist, who is accused of aiding soldiers in dodging military service. The endoscopist is alleged to have provided consultations to clients on how to obtain official medical certificates for further exemption from military service.

According to the accusations, the endoscopist's methods involved inserting an endoscope into the patient's mouth and performing electrocoagulation on the stomach lining. The doctor used specialized tools and medical skills to carry out these procedures, causing ulcers in the patients. These ulcers led to a medical diagnosis that exempted soldiers from conscription.

The endoscopist is also accused of receiving money for assisting soldiers in creating artificial stomach tract injuries. The case suggests that more individuals may have been involved in the alleged scheme, as it is believed that the endoscopist was not acting alone.

The group involved in the case, alongside the accused endoscopist, included military medical personnel and certain officers who facilitated the bypassing of soldiers from military service. The accusation against the endoscopist is due to their actions being organized by this group.

The case review suggests the possibility of involvement of more individuals. This implies that the investigation may expand to include other medical professionals and military personnel who may have been complicit in the alleged scheme.

The criminal case against the endoscopist has been transferred to a special review process due to a prior plea agreement. The outcome of the case remains to be seen, but it raises serious questions about the integrity of the medical and military institutions in Omsk.
