Arrest at Hamburg Airport by Federal Police: Threat and Drug Law Violation Result in over 2,000 Euros in Penalties
A 24-year-old German citizen, wanted by the Public Prosecutor's Office in Bremen since mid-August 2025 for illegal trade in narcotics, was controlled by the Federal Police at Hamburg Airport on Tuesday at 06:00. The individual was scheduled to fly from Hamburg to Barcelona on the same day.
According to the police search, the individual was wanted with two arrest warrants. Each arrest warrant specified a fine of 70 daily rates of 15 euros each, or alternatively 70 days of imprisonment. The total fine amount was 2,100 euros.
After paying the required fine, the individual was thus released from the police measure and was able to continue his flight to Barcelona.
