Arrest made: Suspect in heroin trafficking held in police custody
In the heart of Bielefeld, Germany, a significant drug-related incident unfolded on Wednesday, 3rd September, 2025. The incident took place in the Mitte district, specifically in the parking lot of a grocery store on Hakenort Street.
At around 5:00 PM, police officers intervened and checked the men involved in a suspicious activity. A drug sale was observed in a customer's car during the incident. The customer was a 28-year-old man from Bielefeld who was known for drug trafficking.
Meanwhile, a 59-year-old drug dealer, who is homeless and has Iranian citizenship, was apprehended after resisting arrest. The man was using a motorcycle without the necessary license.
During the ensuing search, a high four-figure sum of money was found on the 59-year-old drug dealer. The seized drugs were initially assessed as a significant amount of heroin and a cutting agent.
The 59-year-old drug dealer, with a history of multiple illegal heroin trafficking and a served prison sentence, was brought to the Bielefeld District Court on Thursday, 4th September, 2025. A remand order was issued against him for illegal trafficking of a significant amount of heroin.
The 28-year-old Iraqi customer must now answer for his attempted purchase of narcotics.
