Break-in at Hunsrückstraße: Rhein-Erft-Kreis Police Investigate Jewelry Theft
The Rhein-Erft-Kreis police are currently investigating a break-in that occurred at a single-family home on Hunsrückstraße in Erftstadt on September 1st.
According to the police, the intruders forced open a door during the break-in and made off with jewelry. Signs of forced entry were found on two doors, and open drawers were discovered inside the home.
Additional officers were called to secure evidence at the scene, and the case is being handled by the Criminal Investigation Unit 13 of the Rhein-Erft-Kreis police.
The exact number of intruders is not specified, but the police are seeking information about three muscular men, each no taller than 1.80 meters, who wore masks (one a white mask). These individuals are wanted by the police in connection with the break-in.
The break-in occurred between 7:30 AM and 6:15 PM, but no specific address was provided. A criminal complaint was filed regarding the break-in, and the police are now seeking witnesses for the case.
