Arrested BPOLI LUD Members Now Facing Legal Proceedings
In a series of arrests over the weekend, a Pole (42), a Georgian (41), and a Moldovan (46) were detained at the NeiΓe rest area on the A4 motorway during temporarily reinstated border controls. The arrests were made by the Bundespolizeiinspektion Ludwigsdorf, as reported by news aktuell.
The 46-year-old Moldovan was wanted by the Tiergarten Local Court for driving without a license. He owed a total of 2,910.87 euros to the court, consisting of 402.00 euros in fines and 2,508.87 euros in court costs. However, his financial situation did not allow him to settle his debt, and he was also facing additional charges and an arrest warrant. The Tiergarten Local Court had ordered pretrial detention and issued an arrest warrant for the 46-year-old, in addition to the enforcement warrant.
The 42-year-old Pole owed the Bamberg Regional Court a total of 4,721.34 euros, stemming from a conviction by the Kaufbeuren Local Court for driving without a license. Meanwhile, the 41-year-old Georgian owed 1,132.50 euros to the Altoetting Local Court for illegal residence without a required residence permit. In all three cases, the convicted individuals lacked the financial means to meet their obligations.
The 46-year-old's arrest was one of three arrests at the NeiΓe rest area during the same period. Despite having enough money to prevent the enforcement warrant, the 46-year-old would still have ended up in jail due to the additional charges and arrest warrant. All three individuals were subsequently handed over to the justice system.

It is important to note that there is no information in the search results about a 46-year-old person with an outstanding penalty order (Strafbefehl) from the Tiergarten Local Court or the reason for their arrest.
