On August 23, 2025, at 1:00 PM, the action will take place at the Heinz von Heiden Arena. For those travelling from Magdeburg, the Federal Police Inspectorate Magdeburg recommends taking the train to Hannover Central Station. From there, fans are advised to transfer to the S-Bahn or U-Bahn for a convenient onward journey.
The Federal Police Inspectorate Hannover will be deployed in large numbers for the match to ensure public safety and order. They ask all train users to consider these tips for their own planning and to understand any necessary police measures that may be taken.
The train routes Magdeburg - Braunschweig - Hannover, Stendal - Wolfsburg - Hannover, and Halberstadt - Goslar - Hannover will see increased usage during the match. Specifically, fans of Hannover 96 should take lines S1, S2, or S5 from platform 1 to Hannover Linden/Fischerhof station. From there, it's a short walk to the stadium.
For those getting off at the Waterloo stop, lines 3, 7 (direction Wettbergen), and 9 (direction Empelde) run in the basement, providing easy access to the stadium.
