Art Shows Featuring Works by Frank Heller and Other Artists

In the heart of Bergisch Gladbach, the VHS is set to host two exciting exhibitions, both offering free admission and requiring no registration.

The first exhibition, titled "Art Washes Away the Dust of Daily Life from the Soul," opens on Friday, September 5, 2025, at 6 PM. This group show features works from over 50 course participants, showcasing a diverse range of techniques and styles, from realistic to abstract, and using mediums such as canvas, paper, oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, or graphite. The exhibition runs until Wednesday, September 17, 2025, during the VHS's usual opening hours.

Frank Heller, a painting instructor at VHS Bergisch Gladbach for over 20 years, teaches the courses from which the works in this exhibition are drawn. Mr. Heller, originally from an unspecified location, has resided in the Rheinisch-Bergischer Kreis for over two decades.

The second exhibition, "The Interior" by Frank Heller, explores themes of inner space and life within, using watercolor and pastel. This solo exhibition opens on Friday, September 19, 2025. Frank Heller's teaching tenure at VHS Bergisch Gladbach predates his current exhibition, and he is also the one who will officially open both exhibitions, alongside Nicole Mrziglod, the director of VHS Bergisch Gladbach.

"The Interior" runs until Monday, October 20, 2025. Both exhibitions remain open to the public, with no need for registration or admission fees. Visitors can immerse themselves in the artistic world of the VHS and gain inspiration from the diverse works on display.
