Aruze Gaming Global Seeks License Renewal from Nevada Gaming Commission

After a two-year period with limited licenses, Aruze Gaming Global is set to seek renewal of their gaming licenses from the Nevada Gaming Commission on July 24. This renewal comes following the resolution of some issues that led to the initial limitation on their licenses.

Empire Technological Group, the current holder of the Aruze brand, is responsible for 2,400 units in Nevada, including those previously placed by Aruze Gaming America. In North America, Empire has sold or leased 2,700 units in more than 120 license locations. The company has also placed more than 500 units in over 50 casinos in Nevada, with no regulatory violations to date.

President Linyi Feng and Tiehui Qiu are also seeking licenses, with Feng being the 100% owner. Feng, who also owns a significant amount of real estate, is willing to use it to acquire working capital. Aruze Gaming's attorney, Scott Scherer, stated that the company has put any issues previously raised behind them and has an impeccable compliance record.

The Nevada Gaming Control Board has recommended a five-year license for Aruze Gaming Global and two of its executives. However, without specific details from the Nevada Gaming Commission or Aruze Gaming Global's filings, no confirmed status or recommendation can be given. Board Chair Mike Dreitzer recommended a three-year license for Aruze Gaming Global.

Globally, Empire Technological Group has more than 4,700 units in about 200 locations. The company, which employs 80 to 90 employees in the US and about 350 employees globally, has seen a projected 50% increase in revenue this year. In 2024, Aruze Gaming Global achieved $50 million in revenue in the first year of operation under Empire Technological Group.

Empire Technological Group and Feng were never owned by Paradise Entertainment Limited, contrary to some claims. The company has also filed a declaratory judgment action in state court in Las Vegas to establish that all the claims made by Paradise and Chun were false.

For the most current and official information, it is recommended to consult the Nevada Gaming Control Board or Nevada Gaming Commission directly or access their recent public records or press releases. Additionally, an application has been made to issue a stock option to Jeffrey Harris, CEO and president of Commerce Casino, to purchase an equity interest in Empire Technological Group.

In the ongoing renewal process of Aruze Gaming Global's gaming licenses by the Nevada Gaming Commission, the company's attorney, Scott Scherer, asserts that Aruze has put past issues behind them and maintains an exceptional compliance record. Moreover, Aruze's business ventures extend beyond Nevada, as the Empire Technological Group, the current holder of the Aruze brand, has over 2,700 units in North America, with a significant presence in casinos-and-gambling industries.
