ASI™ Appoints Larry Basinait as Executive Director for Member Services

The Advertising Specialty Institute (ASI), based in Trevose, PA, has announced a promotion for Larry Basinait, who has been appointed as the executive director of member services. Timothy M. Andrews, the president of ASI, made the announcement.

Basinait, who joined ASI in June 2003, brings a wealth of experience from senior marketing research roles with companies such as CIGNA Corporation, GE Financial Assurance, Oki Data Americas, Inc., Ryder Systems, Inc., and Sutherland Global Services. Prior to joining ASI, he managed a sales team for Sutherland Global Services.

In his new role, Basinait will be responsible for managing all membership-related program development, sales, and services. He will also continue his responsibilities of providing market research for ASI. Basinait's expanded role will allow him to have a more direct impact on what ASI offers to distributors and suppliers.

Basinait holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and earned his undergraduate degrees from the State University of New York at Oswego.
