ASI Promotes Matt Barnes to Senior Vice President for Sales and Marketing in the Supplier Division

Matt Barnes, a respected figure in the industry, has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Supplier Sales and Marketing at the Advertising Specialty Institute (ASI). Barnes, who joined ASI in July of 2014 as Vice President of Supplier Sales, has shown exceptional diligence and leadership skills, earning admiration from ASI's President and CEO, Timothy M. Andrews.

Before joining ASI, Barnes worked for the Cohn Family for three years as President of its Australian business. Prior to that, he spent 14 years at the North American Publishing Company, where he led its promotional products division as Group President and Publishing Director.

Barnes' tenure at ASI has been marked by significant contributions. He was responsible for the print and digital strategies of ASI's magazines, catalogues, and other content-oriented products and services. Barnes also managed a large base of supplier accounts at ASI, and in 2015, he was promoted to Vice President of Publishing and Media Services.

In 2017, Barnes was named ASI's Rising Star Manager of the Year, a testament to his creativity, innovation, and professionalism. His responsibilities at ASI now include supplier membership and the company's digital and print advertising and marketing offerings.

Gene Rahill is leaving the organization, and Barnes will replace him in his role. Barnes will report to Timothy M. Andrews and join the ASI President's Council. Barnes and his family reside in Washington Crossing, PA.
