In a thrilling match at TSG's home stand in Kaohsiung, the TSG Hawks emerged victorious against the Uni-President Lions, securing a 5-2 victory. The game was captured by photographer Lee Hui-chou for the Taipei Times.

The match began with the Lions scoring an early run in the opening frame. However, the Hawks leveled the score in the bottom half of the first inning with a double and a sacrifice fly.

Bradin Hagens, the TSG Hawks' veteran pitcher, started the game on the mound. Despite being rattled in the opening frame, Hagens managed to regain his composure and secure the victory. His perseverance paid off, as the Hawks took a 3-2 lead in the bottom of the sixth inning with two runs.

In the sixth frame, the Lions' batters hit a home run, giving them a temporary 2-1 lead. However, the Hawks' late offensive support proved crucial in securing the victory.

Hagens' 22nd consecutive win is a feat considered incredible in the CPBL. At the age of 36, he surpassed the CPBL record set by Lions legend Pan Wei-lun (2007-2008).

TSG Hawks manager Hong I-chung noted that Hagens has been an outstanding pitcher for the team. He praised Hagens' hard work, stamina, and skills, stating that good luck alone could not have sustained his winning streak. Hagens expressed gratitude towards his teammates for their good defense and battling the Lions' pitchers.

The Hawks added two more runs in the later part of the game, securing the 5-2 victory over the Uni-President Lions. This win marks a significant milestone in Hagens' career and the Hawks' season. As the CPBL continues, fans can expect more exciting matches and performances from the TSG Hawks.
