In a recent court hearing, the Omsk court has granted the detainment motion, choosing detention as the measure of restraint for a 44-year-old local resident named Aleksei Voronov. The sentencing marks the conclusion of the legal proceedings for the hooliganism incident that took place in Omsk.

During the incident, Voronov, who appeared in court on crutches and with a visible black eye, allegedly attacked a passenger minibus. He smashed the windshield with a hammer and threatened the driver and passengers. The court found no signs of reformation in Voronov, leading to the decision to detain him.

The sentencing follows the individual's attack on the passenger minibus, which occurred while he was intoxicated. The court's decision is aimed at preventing Voronov from potentially continuing criminal activity or absconding.

Voronov's previous conviction was also taken into account during the sentencing. The prosecutor's support for the investigation's motion for detainment played a significant role in the court's decision.

The sentencing in this case is a reminder of the consequences that come with acts of hooliganism. The Omsk court has officially sentenced Voronov to 2 years in a penal colony for his actions.
