On Wednesday evening, a serious traffic accident occurred on state road 3314 in Brachttal, South East Hesse. The incident took place around 9:10 PM, and involved a Seat car driven by a 21-year-old.

According to the South East Hesse Police Headquarters, the driver veered off the road in a left curve, flipped over, and stopped on an adjacent field. As a result, the car was presumed to be completely destroyed.

The 21-year-old driver was found to be under the influence of alcohol, and provided a blood sample after a breath test result of over 1.4 per mille. The two passengers, aged 21 and 22, also sustained serious injuries. All three individuals were transported to nearby hospitals.

The driver is now being investigated for suspected endangerment of traffic. Witnesses to the accident are asked to contact the Gelnhausen police station at 06051 827-0.
