Braunschweig Police Investigating Fatal Bike Accident
On August 8, 2025, a tragic incident occurred in Braunschweig. At 15:30h, a 75-year-old cyclist fell off his bike on Altmarkstraße, resulting in a head injury. A passing ambulance quickly arrived at the scene and transported the victim to the hospital.
Sadly, the resident of Braunschweig passed away approximately three weeks later due to injuries sustained during the fall.
The Braunschweig Police are currently investigating the incident, which is still under investigation. They are seeking witnesses who were present or can provide information about the incident or a possible second person involved.
