Authorities have detained an individual aged 37 years.

In the early hours of Tuesday, August 2nd, a 37-year-old man was arrested by the 1st Police Station in Darmstadt. The incident, reported by a vigilant witness around 2:30 AM, took place on Kranichsteiner Street where the man is accused of forcing open a cigarette vending machine.

Preliminary estimates suggest he caused approximately €500 in damage. The man was found hiding in nearby bushes and was temporarily arrested before being taken to the police station for further processing.
