Authorities in Borken County are addressing the primary reason behind the crash incident.
In the Borken district of Germany, excessive speeding continues to be a significant problem, according to recent reports from the local traffic service. Over the past week, a total of 8177 vehicles were recorded with speeds exceeding the permitted maximum in 13 locations.

These cases of excessive speed are not isolated incidents. Approximately 16% of these vehicles exceeded the speed limit, resulting in 2 driving bans, 96 administrative offence proceedings, and 468 warning fines. Excessive speeding has led to multiple administrative offence proceedings and warning fines in the Borken district.
Excessive speed and reckless driving are among the main causes of accidents in the Borken district, often leading to severe consequences for all road users. Despite the ongoing efforts of the traffic service, the high number of accidents indicates that the problem persists.
The authority responsible for speed measurements in the Borken region is the local police, typically operating under the Kreis Borken (District of Borken) jurisdiction including the city of Borken's administration. The traffic service will continue its measurements to combat and prevent these accidents in the coming week.
The persistent issue of excessive speeding in the Borken district underscores the need for continued vigilance and enforcement by the traffic service. As the holiday season approaches, drivers are reminded to adhere to speed limits and drive responsibly to ensure the safety of all road users.
