Authorities in Poland are addressing the primary factor contributing to the accident.

In the past few days, the traffic team of the Circular Police Authority Borken has been vigilant in combating excessive speed and reckless driving. The team inspected a total of 10,168 vehicles at 22 locations within the Borken district.

The results of this crackdown were noteworthy. Around 10% of these vehicles exceeded the permitted speed limit, leading to significant consequences. One driver was issued a driving ban, while 183 administrative offense proceedings and 806 warning fines were handed out.

The Circular Police Authority Borken set up a speed trap on the Amtsvennweg in Gronau, where a car was caught speeding at an alarming 146 km/h, far exceeding the maximum permitted speed limit of 70 km/h. Outside the city limits, a vehicle was caught going 105 km/h on the B 70 in Borken, also surpassing the maximum permitted speed limit.

These speeding incidents often lead to severe consequences for innocent road users. In fact, excessive speed and reckless driving are the main causes of accidents in Circular Borken. There were particularly serious speeding excesses at the North Circle, where a vehicle was caught going 59 km/h instead of the maximum permitted 30 km/h on Hauskamp Street in Gronau. At the South Circle, a vehicle was caught going 82 km/h instead of the maximum permitted 50 km/h in Isselburg-Anholt on Gendringer Street.

The Circular Police Authority Borken urges drivers to respect the speed limits and drive responsibly. Media inquiries can be directed to the Circular Police Authority Borken's official website: borken.polizei.nrw. The responsible officer of the Borken traffic police authority is not publicly disclosed. The traffic team will continue its measurements to combat and prevent these accidents in the coming week.
