Authorities in Poland are seeking additional individuals of interest in relation to the ongoing investigation involving a 20-year-old currently in custody.

On November 13, 2024, a significant breakthrough was made in a large-scale commercial fraud case in Hesse, Germany. The investigation, which involved complex processes and lasted several months, culminated in the successful conclusion of the case.

The two main suspects, aged 20 and 26, were brought before a judge at the Aschaffenburg District Court at the request of the Cologne Public Prosecutor's Office. The 20-year-old suspect, who operated under the alias "Petros Vassios", was taken into custody following the judge's order.

The investigation revealed indications of intensive cooperation between law enforcement agencies, leading to the uncovering of this case. The joint efforts of the Public Prosecutor's Office Darmstadt and the Hesse State Police Headquarters played a crucial role in this successful outcome.

The suspects are accused of pretending to transfer 53,000 euros and fraudulently obtaining a caravan in Messel, Hesse, in July 2024. Furthermore, investigations suggest that the suspects may have been involved in additional commercial fraud offenses in Thuringia and North Rhine-Westphalia.

While at least one female accomplice is believed to have been involved in the suspected fraud offenses, the identity of the female accomplice involved with the two suspects in the large-scale fraud case remains unidentified in the available information.

The Darmstadt Criminal Police (K21/22) is now looking for further possible victims of the 20-year-old suspect. Affected persons are asked to contact the investigators on 06151/969-0.

On November 13, 2024, several apartments in Alzenau and Mörfelden-Walldorf were searched by the Darmstadt Criminal Police as part of the investigation.
